WET (TRADITIONAL) FLOOR HEATING
For the installation of underfloor heating there is, first and foremost, thermal comfort, health, aesthetics and economy.
The use of an underfloor heating system brings many benefits, above all allows for optimal vertical distribution of temperature in the room for humans. The heat is felt in the most comfortable way. A person feels best when he has warm legs and cool breathing air.
The premise of underfloor heating is that the floor is only a few degrees warmer than air. Thanks to this, there is no dust raising phenomenon and the heat stays in the users zone. This makes the so-called floor systems extremely friendly for people suffering from allergies.
It’s no wonder that this form of space heating is becoming increasingly popular. Relatively cheap to install, economical in operation and low maintenance, it makes practical sense. It also frees the wall space normally dedicated to radiators and can be installed in virtually any type of floor. It is widely considered a more ecological variant than radiators because of the way the space is heated. Instead of heating the room from top to bottom (as radiators do), underfloor heating ensures that the lower part of the room receives heat first.
Modern system solutions allow you to install heating on any type of floor, wall and ceiling.

Characteristics of wet (traditional) heating systems
Traditional water floor heating is the most common floor heating system in which pipes are flooded in a screed layer,. They are used where there is no emphasis on maintaining layer thickness due to a lack of height reserve. The load that a wet system can take is around 140kg / m2. It is often used in residential construction – industrial facilities emerging because of the load transfer properties of about 50 kPa. ALMAR system boards for anhydrite, screed screed are span > simple and easy to install . Foam used for underfloor heating must relevant parameters, generally it is EPS, or EPS 100 80 roof / floor. Let’s remember -floor heating with anhydrite screed cannot be lower than 3 cm and for underfloor heating with screed screed span > a minimum of 5-6 cm is recommended. Underfloor traditional system can be used on foamed polystyrene (EPS) styrodur (XPS) in foil, mesh depending on the design guidelines.
ALMAR SYSTEM DUO
System board with tabs (foamed polystyrene board) every 5.0 cm allows us to perfectly lay pipes in various shapes, maintaining the right distance, the ability to move around the board and a secure seal against water from screed and moisture. The system consists of polystyrene (PS) foil with 1.1mm thick tabs and foamed polystyrene boards
EPS100 [W / mK] 0.038
EPS150 [W / mK] 0.035
EPS T [W / mK] 0.045
The basic advantage of the system is quick assembly without the use of fixing clips and a tight connection between the panels thanks to overlaps. We use self-leveling cement anhydrite screed for a polystyrene board.
SYSTEM ADVANTAGES
Quick installation without the use of fixing clips thanks to the expanded polystyrene board
Laying pipes in different shapes keeping the same distance between them
Tight connection between discs thanks to tabs in the disc
Protection against screed water and moisture
Ability to move around the disc

SYSTEM STANDARD PE/PP
The most standard solution among wet systems
The board is made of EPS 100 [W / m K] 0.038 foam covered with PE (polyethylene) or PP (polypropylene) foil with a thickness of 0.011 mm. The plate has a rectangular print that allows quick and accurate placement of heating pipes. We use self-leveling cement screed for the foamed polystyrene board
